Visitors to London can now experience what it is like to be an Olympic Champion as one of the iconic venues of the 2012 Olympic games is open for public use.
Designed by architect Zaha Hadid, its wave forms provide an amazing backdrop, if that was not enough the enormous windows offer views of the Olympic stadium , the Orbit sculpture and Canary Wharf in the distance.
Designed for swimmers of all abilities, from absolute beginners to Olympic and Paralympic champions, London Aquatics Centre will offer a wide-ranging programme of activities from 1 March 2014, from fun and family sessions, lane swimming, diving, swimming lessons, diving lessons, community swim sessions and other aquatic disciplines.
With prices the same as many local leisure centres, this is a aquatic experience not to forget, so when you pack your clothes for your trip, don’t forget your swimming costumes.
