28 Leigh St, London WC1H 9EP
In the busy streets of Bloomsbury, the Norfolk Arms is a London pub with a difference, instead of the usual British or Fusion fare its speciality is tapas.
The pubs small size has led the owners to focus on the small lunch/ snack market which fits in well with the Bloomsbury crowds.
An extensive menu offers a wide collection of snacks with a little difference, therefore you can have maldon rock oysters with shallot & cabernet sauvignon vinegar, Lyme bay dorset crab with rocket, ginger, chilli, honey, soy & sesame dress, Mixed vegetable mezze or Garlic & sea salt roasted cod with olives, capers, red onion & tomato salsa.
This is only a small part of the selections, for the tapas the list is even longer but includes Chickpea & tomato stew, Rojones: fried paprika pork belly, Chorizo in cider, bay leaf , and Piadina with serrano ham, rocket & shaved parmesan.
Winner of a number of awards, and with reasonable prices, the Norfolk Arms is typical London pub with a little bit of Spain added.
