Kempton Park Racecourse : Staines Road, East Sunbury-on-Thames, Middlesex , TW16 5AQ

Kempton Park Racecourse is a horse racing track near to Sunbury-on-Thames in Surrey, around 16 miles south-west of Central London. It is one of the few courses that features a National Hunt and an all weather flat racetrack.

The racecourse was the idea of 19th century businessman  S.H. Hyde, who came across Kempton Manor and Park for sale. Hyde leased the grounds as tenant in 1872 and six years later in July 1878 Kempton opened as a racecourse.
