The young Rachmaninoff’s First Symphony explodes with passion, in contrast with Glinka’s rather more refined  Valse-fantasie in B minor. Acclaimed young pianist Jan Lisiecki provides plenty of verve with Chopin’s Piano Concerto No.1..
