An American in Paris at the Dominion Theatre

An American in Paris features music by George Gershwin and lyrics by Ira Gershwin. The Broadway production was nominated for 12 Tony Awards, including Best Musical. In 2015 the show won 4 Tony Awards, for Best Scenic Design of a Musical, Best Orchestrations, Best Lighting Design of a Musical and Best Choreography.

The musical is directed and choreographed by acclaimed British dance artist Christopher Wheeldon and features set and costume design by Bob Crowley, lighting design by Natasha Katz and sound design by Jon Weston.

Based on the 1951 Academy Award-winning film of the same name, An American in Paris is set in post-war Paris where World War II Army veteran Jerry Mulligan is eager to begin a new life in the newly-liberated city of Paris.
