The London Classic Car Show returns to ExCeL London on 23rd to 26th February, although it is only in its third year, the London Classic Car Show has become a firm favourite with motoring enthusiasts with a record 33,000 visitors visiting the 2016 event.
To celebrate the 70th anniversary of Ferrari road cars, the show will feature an incredible display of 20 of the greatest cars ever to wear the famous Prancing Horse. The cars conservatively valued at more than £120 million, will be one of the major attractions of the show.
Popular features such as The Grand Avenue and Car Club Square will return, bigger and better than ever. The Grand Avenue, a roadway running through the centre of the show, allows visitors to see and hear their favourite classics in action. This time, The Grand Avenue will have an open paddock allowing visitors to get even closer to the cars.
The show will honour six-time Le Mans winner Jacky Ickx with this year’s Icon Award, and Ickx, one of the world’s greatest all-round racing driver, will be live on stage discussing his incredible career with motoring broadcaster Henry Hope-Frost.
The looks for the perfect ten with a parade of fifty of the world’s most desirable classics under ten headings – saloon, coupé, convertible, sports car, supercar, hatchback, shooting break, sports racer, streamliner and single-seater The Grand Avenue, a roadway that runs through the centre of the show..
Another innovation for this year is the Beaulieu Pop-up Autojumble. Some top-class stalls will bring a flavour of the world-famous autojumble to London by selling classic car parts, books and magazines and motoring ephemera.
For the first time the London Classic Car Show will incorporate a second show, Historic Motorsport International (HMI), which is devoted to historic racing and rallying and will include 50th anniversary celebrations for the Ford DFV Grand Prix engine and the birth of Formula Ford.
