The second month of Premier League football in 2017 sees a number of interesting fixtures including some crucial London derbies.
Arsenal have had a steady start to the season but slipped up recently, their title winning credentials will be severely test by a trip to Chelsea. Another fixture against Hull City will offer an easier test but the Gunners need to keep up the pressure on the teams at the top.
Chelsea have emerged as real title contenders with Conte’s men impressing with their teamwork and commitment, matches against Arsenal and Swansea seem unlikely to stop the Chelsea’s progress.
Tottenham are showing some of their form from last year and will be looking for maximum points from matches against Middlesbrough and Stoke City.
West Ham’s poor start to the season has been a surprise, however December and January has bought improved displays and Andy Carroll has regained his scoring touch. Games against Man City, West Brom and Watford will test the Hammer’s new resolve.
Watford and Crystal Palace have shown signs that they may struggle this year, Palace in particular have lost direction, matches against Sunderland and Middlesbrough are crucial for survival. Watford have been very inconsistent and need points against Burnley and West Ham United.
