Barbarians v South Africa at Wembley Stadium – 5th November 2016

The Barbarians will take on South Africa at Wembley Stadium for the Killik Cup on Saturday 5th November, KO 3.30pm where the two sides will clash for the first time in six years.

It’s the world famous invitational side’s first appearance at under the arch since the Olympic Centenary match against Australia in 2008 and they will be taking on the Springboks for only the eighth time since 1952 with these matches always proving to be special with players like Brian Habana and Ruan Pienaar having played in both jerseys in recent years.

The Barbarians will again bring together some of the world’s leading players to bring their special brand of open rugby onto the Wembley turf. After successes against Samoa and Argentina this season, the Barbarians will be looking for another victory but the Springboks are one of the best teams in the world.
