After the shocks of last season, many of the top London football clubs will be seeking mount a challenge for the Premiership trophy. Antonio Conte’s arrival at Chelsea will allow the Blues to forget their recent problems but will the Italian be able the motivate the players that struggled last year? Arsenal’s second place finish last year was considered a failure by many and fans will look for Arsene Wenger’s side to be more consistent especially when under pressure. Tottenham’s fine season rather faded in the final few matches, however they have an exciting group of players and a manager who are admired by many.
West Ham move into the Olympic Stadium on the back of a very successful season, Slaven Bilic has bought together a talented team with some serious firepower. Crystal Palace and Watford flirted with the relegation area last year and will hope to get off to a good start and look towards mid table safety.
