Test match : England v Sri Lanka at Lord’s – 9th to 13th June 2016

England will face Sri Lanka in the third and final Test of a three-match series when the two sides meet at Lord’s from Thursday 9 June to Monday 13 June.

The first Test match of the summer lasted just three days as England easily outclassed Sri Lanka winning by an innings and 88 runs at Headingley. Jonny Bairstow starred with the bat hitting a first Test century on home soil and James Anderson taking 10-45 in the match was the pick of the bowlers.

It was a boost for England before a summer of home test matches and a cause of concern for Sri Lanka who will be looking to Angelo Mathews and all-rounder Dasun Shanaka to turn the form around before they arrive at the home of cricket.
