One Day International: England v Sri Lanka at the Kia Oval – 29th June 2016

The One Day record between the teams is slightly shaded by England, but few will forget the 2015 World Cup in Wellington when Sri Lanka made a chase of 310 seem easy as Kumar Sangakkara scored a wonderful hundred, alongside Lahiru Thirimanne’s 139. Joe Root’s hundred was the high spot of a chastening day for England.

One day matches between the sides tend to be very entertaining and the large Oval crowd will be hoping they will be basking in warm summer weather for the day/night match.
