European Aquatics Championships at the London Aquatics Centre – 9th to 22nd May 2016

The iconic London Aquatics Centre at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park welcomes Europe’s best synchronised swimmers, divers and swimmers for the European Aquatics Championships between the 9th and 22nd May.

Over the two weeks, history will be made as mixed gender synchronised swimming and mixed gender synchronised diving are included on a European Aquatics Championships schedule for the first time. There are also four combined synchronised swimming and sessions, another first for the event.

The UK hasn’t hosted the European Aquatics Championships since 1993 with the event set to be the biggest to be held at the London Aquatics Centre since the 2012 Olympic and Paralympics.

It will be the last chance to watch Britain’s and Europe’s best in major competitive action before the Rio 2016 Olympic Games. The British Diving team will feature world medallists Tom Daley, Jack Laugher, Chris Mears and Rebecca Gallantree.
