Renée Fleming in Recital at the Barbican – 6th April 2016

rennee fleming

Renée Fleming in a series of concerts at the Barbican  has confirmed her status of one of the great soprano voices in the world.  In this Lieder recital,  Renée’s voice is used to its highest degree with a number of songs including  Schumann’s hauntingly beautiful song-cycle of love and loss. She will be accompanied throughout the evening by Hartmut Höll on piano.

Nun hast du mir der ersten Schmerz getan
