The large upside-down purple cow returns to the South Bank for an eighth year in 2016. It is always a sign that the warmer weather is just around the corner when Udderbelly presents an eclectic programme of comedy, circus and children’s shows next to the River Thames. The site has a number of paid attractions but if you would like a drink at one of London’s largest outdoor bars or a bite to eat, you can enter Udderbelly and enjoy the atmosphere for free.

Highlights of this year’s festival are incredible circus performers, Circa who premiere their brand new show Close Up. Learn weird and wonderful facts from the QI Elves in a live version of their podcast No Such Thing As a Fish and let Nina Conti get In Your Face. The kids will be entertained by the Comedy Club 4 Kids and The Amazing Bubble Man.
