Grand Designs Live returns to London’s ExCeL from the 30th April – 8th May 2016. Over the nine days, there will a large variety of attractions that will give visitors an opportunity to see all the latest trends for the home. Based on the Channel 4 TV series, and presented by Kevin McCloud, the event will be packed with over 500 exhibitors, across seven different sections. The seven sections will feature Grand Interiors, Grand Technology, Grand Kitchens, Grand Bathrooms, Grand Gardens, Grand Village and Grand Build.
The Grand Village is one of the highlights of the show and here you can see the latest conceptual, eco-friendly and sustainable structures. There are buildings that you can explore to discover the latest techniques and ideas for self-build projects and eco developments.
Next to the Grand Village, visitors will find the Grand Theatre, where you can hear from top experts and TV celebrities with hourly seminars as well as real case studies from Grand Designers who have been featured on the TV show.
Each year, Kevin McCloud hand-picks a selection of the best eco-innovations on the market to showcase their products at Grand Designs Live. Kevin’s Green Heroes offers a platform to un-sung product designers to showcase their innovations and designs to a large audience.
If you have any project and self-build questions, you can Ask an Expert, representatives from every field including financing your project, project management, technology and advice from RIBA Chartered Architects and Chartered Architectural Technologists will be available.
The Grand Interiors Theatre offers a diverse schedule of sessions allowing visitors to pick up some great insider secrets. Take a seat and don’t miss the chance to see the experts sharing their tips, ideas and advice on designing. In the Live Kitchen Experience, top chefs and restauranteurs will be putting on daily demonstrations. Each year, Grand Designs Live London holds a competition to find the Grand Designs Live London Garden Designer of the year, to showcase the best of the designs from novice gardeners.
