London will be celebrating St George’s Day in Trafalgar Square on the 25th April with traditional English food, family activities, music and much more.
The Feast of St George is inspired by St George’s Day’s 13th century origins as a national day of feasting.
Going along with the feasting theme, There’ll be cookery demos from celebrity chefs, stalls selling mouth-watering treats, a large banqueting area and a host of indoor and outdoor family games.
In the afternoon , the crowds will be entertained by a variety of live music from a number of performers. There’ll also be fun for kids, with family activities to enjoy.
The event this year will mark the 400th anniversary of William Shakespeare’s death, so expect plenty of activities to celebrate his life and legacy.
The Feast of St George is organised by the Mayor of London.
