Canalway Cavalcade is popular waterways boaters’ gathering that has been taking place at Little Venice since 1983. Organised by the Inland Waterways Association (IWA), there will be an array of decorated canal boats, trade show stalls and boaters who gather for the festival on the May bank holiday weekend.
As well as boating activities, there will be Morris dancing, a tasty selection of food stalls, a real-ale bar, little shops selling the weird and the wonderful and most of all a lovely picturesque view of the beautiful narrow boats along the waterways of Little Venice .
Around 130 boats will be moored along the stretch of the Grand Union Canal between Blomfield Road, Warwick Avenue and Warwick Crescent for the Canalway Cavalcade which always attracts large numbers of visitors.
