Basketball: London Lions at the Copper Box in March 2016

London Lions will hope to shake of their inconsistent start to the season with a couple of matches in March at the Copper Box.

Surrey Scorchers are their first opponents followed by Cheshire Phoenix, these are vital games after a tough run of away matches.

Currently in sixth, the Lions need to find some consistent winning form to push them the table .

The recent NBA games at the O2 have been a sell out indicating there is plenty for interest in Basketball. If you are one of those interested, London has its own professional team which plays in the iconic Copper Box in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.

Whilst the history of Basketball in the capital is sketchy, the London Lions are hoping to forge a sustainable future by developing promising English players and working with the local communities.
