Daunt Books Festival – 10th and 11th March 2016



The ever popular Daunt bookshop in Marylebone, once again plays host to the Daunt Books festival on the 10th and 11th March. The festival covers a wide range of subjects and attracts many of the big names in the book world, this year is no exception with Booker prize-winning author Howard Jacobson exploring The Merchant of Venice , BBC Arts Editor Will Gompertz considers how to Think Like an Artist and Simon Sebag Montefiore the dynasty of The Romanovs.

Other highlights include Alexandra Harris and Christine L Corton discussing the weather, well known satirists Craig Brown and Eleanor Bron presenting an A-Z of Humour and Elif Shafak with Jason Goodwin discussing the many sides of Istanbul in fact and fiction.

Other participants in the festival include Tom Holland, Peter Frankopan, James Holland, Bee Wilson, Diana Henry, Philip Reeve, Sarah McIntyre, Nicholas Lezard, Helen Simpson, Sarah Bakewell, Catherine Merridale, Philip Hoare, Max Porter, Chris Power, Barnaby Rogerson, K J Orr, Emily Rhodes and Laura Macaulay.james-tom-holland-300x300

Tickets are priced individually per event, but you can buy a Weekend Ticket for £38, which grants you access to all the weekend’s events.
