The global phenomenon that is Cirque du Soleil returns to the Royal Albert Hall for their latest show Amaluna. It will mark 20 years of Cirque du Soleil appearing at the iconic Royal Albert Hall.
The Canadian circus troupe whose origins go back to a number of street entertainers in the 1980s, were one of the first to develop a show which was a striking, dramatic mix of circus arts (without animals) and performance that featured wild, outrageous costumes, magical lighting, and original music.
Since then they have travelled the world with their shows that are usually in large arenas or under the big top.
In Cirque du Soleil’s latest show we are taken to a mysterious island ruled by goddesses who have to deal with a group of young men washed up on the isle in a storm.
The show features the usual amazing gymnastic routines in a fast paced adventure with plenty of thrills and spills.
