Gustavo Dudamel and the Simón Bolívar Symphony Orchestra of Venezuela return to their London home.

In a spectacular all-Stravinsky programme, they offset the full power and originality of the complete Firebird ballet music against the electrifying rhythmic force of The Rite of Spring, whose primeval eruptions of sound culminate in a shattering dance of death.

Programme

Igor Stravinsky: The Firebird, complete (1910)

Interval

Igor Stravinsky: The Rite of Spring

Performers

Simón Bolívar Symphony Orchestra of Venezuela
