William Hill Winter Festival : Day 2 at Kempton Park – 27th December 2015

A popular, festive day out for all the family, the second day of the Festival, on 27th December 2015 features top class racing including  two Grade 2 races and a number of competitive handicaps. The festive spirit will still celebrated with   a variety of free children’s entertainment  including Fair Ground Rides, a petting farm, The ‘Quack Pack’ demonstrations, donkey rides, facepainters, a panto (Cinderella) plus more.

Kempton Park Racecourse is a horse racing track near to Sunbury-on-Thames in Surrey, around 16 miles south-west of Central London. It is one of the few courses that features a National Hunt and an all weather flat racetrack.

The racecourse was the idea of 19th century businessman  S.H. Hyde who leased the grounds as tenant in 1872 and six years later in 1878 Kempton opened as a racecourse.

Directions

By Car: Located on the A308 between Sudbury on Thames and Hampton Court. The course is less than 1 mile from junction 1 of the M3 via junction 12 of the M25.

By Rail: The course has  its own station which is situated 200 yards from the Premier Enclosure entrance. Trains will run every half hour from Waterloo. The journey time being approx. 40 minutes.
