With the defeats against Wales and Australia in Pool A meaning England became the first nation to fail to make the knockout stages of World Cup on home soil. It is down to Wales and Scotland to fly the flag for the British Isles in the Rugby Union World Cup.
Wales have had an injury hit squad but shown their courage and fitting spirit to reach the quarter finals. Another tough test awaits them with a strong South Africa team who after the suprise defeat to Japan have been showing their considerable talents.
Wales coach Warren Gatland’s squad must overcome injuries and a strong South African side to progress to the semi finals.
