Udderbelly Festival at the Southbank Centre – 9th April to 19th July 2015


An upside down purple cow reappears on the Southbank with the arrival of the Udderbelly Festival which presents an extravaganza of comedy, circus and family entertainment. Underbelly joined forces with Southbank Centre in 2009 and the festival has become a firm favourite for its wide variety of entertainment.
The upside down cow becomes 400-seat temporary venue with a large outdoor bar and selection of food stalls.


Highlights include the Big Top Circus excitement of Circus Geeks: Beta Testing and Circus Maximus, the large comedy programme includes Andrew Maxwell’s London Loves, Austentatious: An Improvised Jane Austen Novel, Festival of the Spoken Nerd: Just for Graphs, Nina Conti: In Your Face, Stephen K Amos: Welcome to My World and the always popular Arthur Smith with Oh Hazel.


There is a range of Kid’s shows including Annabelle’s Skirting Board Adventure, Bec and Tom’s Awesome Laundry, Comedy Club 4 Kids, Jay Foreman’s Disgusting Songs for Revolting Children, Morgan & West’s Utterly Spiffing Spectacular Magic Show and The Showstoppers’ Fantastical Story Factory: The Improvised Musical Adventure for Kids!
